Rockabye Baby
Several of you have asked to see pictures of the resting spot for Bee when she first arrives. Here are a few pictures from the shower of the baby bassinet that Grandma Doerksen (Nonni) redesigned. This bassinet has been in the Doerksen family for over 60 years. It was used for Jim, Robb's dad; Robb and all of his siblings and for our two nephews, Noah and Breven. Bee is a lucky little lady to have had it redesigned just for her. Now she'll be able to be right next to the bed - I hear that is a very good thing. ;-)

I really enjoyed recovering the bassinet for Bee. We were thinking about the age of the bassinet as we were in Kansas and thought that it is at least 75 years old and may be even older. What a delight it is to pass on something so special for Bee to land on when she arrives!
